Olean, NY – January 17, 2024 – On Thursday, January 25, the CA BOCES CTE Center at Ellicottville will open its doors to the community for an Open House event from 12:00-6:00 p.m.
As part of the event, guests will have the opportunity to tour classrooms, learn about programs, speak with Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructors, learn about local Union opportunities and options for continuing education beyond CTE programs.
Representatives from the Cattaraugus County IDA, Olean Business Development, and JCC Workforce Development will also be available at the event to answer questions.
CTE Center at Ellicottville Principal, Aron Cole, said that he looks forward to welcoming the community to the center. “We always welcome the opportunity to educate potential students and their families/guardians on the many options available in technical education,” he said. “We also added a number of community agencies to the event so our visitors have as much information as possible about the resources available in our region.”
Spaghetti dinners will be available for purchase to benefit the Skills USA program. Pre-sale tickets for the dinner can be purchased at the CTE Center at Ellicottville front desk.
