CA BOCES To Expand CDL Programming; Grant Funding Secures Equipment

Olean, NY – May 14, 2024 – The Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES Workforce Development and Community Learning division recently announced the expansion of CDL programming after acquiring a new truck through grant funding by the Appalachian Regional Commission.

CA BOCES Principal of Workforce Development and Community Learning, Matt Fanton, said that the new equipment will allow for expanded programming in the region. “We have experienced an increase in demand for CDL training for the past few years,” he said. “This addition of equipment, along with an investment in experienced teaching staff, will allow us to meet this demand for the community.”

The truck was obtained through Hunter Buffalo Peterbilt.
