Director of Pupil Services/CSE Chair

Full-time (12-month), probationary position – Immediate opening

SBL/SDL certification (Candidates with other related certifications who are working toward an administrative certification will also be considered).

The successful candidate will possess:

clear and demonstrated passion for working with and supporting students
knowledge of all IDEA regulations
familiarity with related services
ability to organize and chair CSE/CPSE/504 meetings
proficiency with Clear Track
ability to develop and supervise programs
strong knowledge of instructional best-practices and interventions to support students
willingness to support staff and promote a collaborative environment
a good sense of humor

PreK-12 Building Principal (Anticipated)

Requirements: Must hold NYS Certification as a School District Leader (SDL) or School Building Leader (SBL)

Qualifications: Andover Central School has an enrollment of approximately 300 PreK-12 students, an accomplished staff, and an active supportive community. The position requires an experienced instructional leader with a strong teaching and administrative background; and the ability to promote a 21st century vision of student-centered, problem-based learning that affirms academic success for every student. Must have a comprehensive understanding of the day-today operations of NYS public school district.

Approximate Start Date: August 23, 2021

Closing Date: August 6, 2021

Salary: Commensurate with experience
