The Audio Visual Production program is an industry-ready program where students learn and practice the fundamentals of audio recording and mastering, digital cinematography, and live-streaming and digital broadcasting.

Visual work may include things like digital cinematography, composition, and broadcast standards. Students will also utilize aspects of virtual production and combining virtual environments with real life cinematography techniques. Students will gain a working understanding and practice a wide variety of applications associated with the audio and video industry standard software including Adobe Photoshop, Audition, FL Studio, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.

Student projects and practical use may include: digital cinematography including making short films, television production and live broadcasting, podcast production and electronic news writing. Students will also have the opportunity to work with real clients to produce radio and television advertisements.
