About Media & Animation Services

The CA BOCES Media and Animation department supports districts and internal departments by crafting content that makes information more accessible and impactful. Through a long-standing partnership with RIT’s Magic Spell Studios, the team creates custom animations that bring school mascots to life, supports character education initiatives, and turns superintendents and administrators into fun-loving, on-screen characters that connect with students and the community.  Additionally, they help to make complex topics – such as capital project budgets and human resources recruitment efforts – more visually appealing and easier to understand.

The department also offers comprehensive video production services, creating videos for school events, promotional campaigns, staff training, and community outreach. From concept development and scriptwriting to filming and post-production, the team collaborates with districts to produce engaging visual stories that capture attention and communicate key messages effectively. Whether through animation or live-action video, the Media and Animation department helps schools elevate their communication strategies and foster stronger connections with their audiences.
