CA BOCES Update – October 27, 2020

We recently received notification from the Allegany County Department of Health (ACDOH) that another person from the CA BOCES CTE Center at Belmont has tested positive for COVID-19. Proper contact tracing and testing is currently in progress. As a precaution, we will be closing the Belmont Center in all capacities for Wednesday, October 28, 2020, so deep cleaning, and sanitizing can occur. All students will move to a virtual model of instruction. We will be meeting in the morning to reassess the situation and provide further guidance if needed. Otherwise normal operations will resume on Thursday, October 29. Our CTE Centers at both Ellicottville and Olean are not impacted and will follow their regular schedule this week and our regular health practices — social distancing, masking, and regular sanitizing — will continue at all CA BOCES locations.
