Medical Coding and Billing

A nineteen-week class (Wednesday evenings) at the CTE Center at Olean (57 hours total of theory).  Registration is over for our Spring 2026 class.  Stay tuned here for more details on the application timeline for the Fall 2026 classes.  You can still review the information below to get an idea of what to expect from the program and what a typical class schedule looks like.

Fall 2026 Application Information:
The following is the current information for the application and enrollment process for our Fall 2026 Medical Coding & Billing program.

  • Tuition and textbooks for the Fall 2026 program will total $1,140.
  • We require a minimum of 20% of the total tuition ($228) to be paid by Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
  • If the full tuition is not paid before class starts, you will agree to make payments while enrolled, with the total to be paid off in advance of the end of class (the last payment will be due on 1/6/27).

This information will be updated once the cost and the schedule for the Fall 2026 programs are finalized.

APPLY (new website): The application for Medical Coding & Billing is currently OPEN.  You have to apply soon if you want to participate in the Fall 2026 class.  Any applications received after Tuesday, September 1, 2026 will be considered for the Spring 2027 program.

Medical Assisting

A fifteen-week class that prepares students for work as a Medical Assistant.

  • Tuition and textbooks for the Fall 2026 program will total $1,680.
  • We require a minimum of 20% of the total tuition ($336) to be paid by Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
  • If the full tuition is not paid before class starts, you will agree to make payments while enrolled, with the total to be paid off in advance of the end of the class (the last payment will be due on 12/22/26).

Phlebotomy

This is a ten-week class held at the CTE Center at Olean. After completing the theory portion of the class, students will be eligible to participate in a 32-hour clinical at local facilities.  Upon successful completion of this course (theory and clinical), students will be eligible to take the Phlebotomy Technician Certification exam through the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA); the exam is optional, but we will schedule the exam if there is interest from the class.

Please note: the PTC exam costs an additional $119, and you will pay that to AMCA at the time you sign up for the exam.

  • Tuition and textbooks for the Fall 2026 program will total $1,620.
  • We require a minimum of 20% of the total tuition ($324) to be paid by Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
  • If the full tuition is not paid before class starts, you will agree to make payments while enrolled, with the total to be paid off  in advance of the last class (the last payment will be due on 10/29/26).

Dental Assisting

A one-year, part-time class consisting of 620 hours of theory, 100 hours of hands-on training, and a 200-hour internship.  Beginning with our current class, theory is delivered through our textbook’s online platform.  Students interested in this program must have reliable access to technology, including, but not limited to, the internet, a desktop/laptop, and Microsoft Word (or an equivalent).

Costs: Tuition: $5,100, Textbooks: $150, Total = $5,250
Note: the three Certification Exams you take during the course are an additional cost you will pay to the testing company at the time you register.
