Sessler Bridge

I just recently graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in December with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering Technology and a focus in Structural Engineering. I just recently took a new role in an up-and-coming company called Sessler Bridge, located in Fairport, NY. Sessler Bridge is a bridge demolition contractor and I will be doing all the demolition drawings and calculations to make sure the project is done safely. I also assist with other tasks such as estimating and bidding future projects. I’m looking forward to this opportunity to grow! My CTE education helped me immensely on my journey. It prepared me for college and gave me a taste of engineering classes so I knew what discipline I wanted to go into. I give a lot of credit to my instructor, Mr. Alan Barber. As a RIT graduate himself, he gave me a lot of great advice and guidance and I remained in touch with him throughout college. The exposure to CAD software that my CTE program gave me helped me in college and I am continuing to use it in my career today.
