Heavy Equipment
Learn the safety and operation of skid steer loaders, excavator/mini-excavator, tractor/loader, bulldozer, dump truck, and forklift. Classes are offered at the CTE Center in Ellicottville. We hope to have information soon on when the next class will be held. If you are interested in the class, please apply and we will keep you updated on when the class will be held and how much it will cost.

Security Guard 8-hour Pre-Assignment Course and Annual In-Service
Security guards protect property, maintain security, and enforce regulations and standards of conduct. This eight-hour class is required to be eligible to obtain employment as a security guard in New York State (NYS). Classes are held every September at our Olean Center and cost $110 per person.

Welding
Students will learn appropriate welding techniques in this 50-hour course. This course includes one-on-one training for MIG, TIG, stick, and creative designs. Classes are offered at the CTE Center in Olean and cost $1,025. We are no longer accepting applications for our Spring 2025 class. If you are interested in taking the class in Fall 2025, please contact us so we can alert you when the application is open again (cost and schedule to be determined).
