Medical Coding and Billing Schedule for Spring 2026opens PDF file : To successfully complete this program, we expect students to attend every class. We understand emergencies happen, so up to two absences are allowed.
Fall 2026 Application Information:
The following is the current information for the application and enrollment process for our Fall 2026 Medical Coding & Billing program.
- The application link will become available by 4 pm on Friday, May 1, 2026 (paper applications will be mailed on Thursday, April 30, 2026).
- The application will close on Friday, June 12, 2026; paper applications must be postmarked by or dropped off at the Olean Center by this date, or they will not be accepted.
- A non-refundable $100 deposit will be due by 4 pm on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
OR
We must receive communication from a funding agency that they are planning to fund you for the Fall 2026 program. - We require a minimum of 20% of the total tuition to be paid for before class starts; the remaining payment will be due by Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
- If the full tuition is not paid before class starts, you will agree to make payments while enrolled, with the total to be paid off with a minimum of 4 weeks remaining in the class.
This information will be updated once the cost and the schedule for the Fall 2026 programs are finalized.

Phlebotomy
This is a ten-week class held at the CTE Center at Olean. After completing the theory portion of the class, students will participate in a 32-hour clinical at local facilities. Upon successful completion of this course (theory and clinical), students will be eligible to take the Phlebotomy Technician Certification exam through the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA); the exam is optional, but we will schedule the exam if there is interest from the class.

Please note: the PTC exam costs an additional $119, and you will pay that to AMCA at the time you sign up for the exam.

Dental Assisting
A one-year, part-time class consisting of 620 hours of theory, 100 hours of hands-on training, and a 200-hour internship. Beginning with our next class, theory will be delivered through Moodle using our textbook’s online platform. Students interested in this program must have reliable access to technology, including, but not limited to, the internet, a desktop/laptop, and Microsoft Word (or an equivalent).
Costs: Tuition: $5,100, Textbooks: $150, Total = $5,250
Note: the three Certification Exams you take during the course are an additional cost you will pay to the testing company at the time you register.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
This 132-hour program covers medical terminology, basic patient care skills, related anatomy and physiology, nutrition, and patient observation techniques. The program also includes instruction on health and prepares students to take the New York State Nurse Aide Certification Exam, which is required to work as a Certified Nurse Aide in a long-term care facility.
Students must be at least 16 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent to enroll in a New York State-approved nurse aide training program. Graduates are eligible to take the state certification exam at age 17.
Classes will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5 to 8 pm beginning in our Spring of 2026 Session at our CTE Center in Olean (exact start date TBD).
Costs: Tuition: $1,500, Textbooks: $100, Total- $1,600.
Please note: the CNA exam is an additional cost you will pay at the time you sign up for the exam.
