Click on the blue LOGIN button on the top right hand corner of the page.
In the box under “Login: Search For Your License”, type in the CTE Center that your school attends. To find your CTE Center, see below:

After you find your CTE Center, you need to put in the username and password (Given by teacher/guidance counselor).
You will arrive at the Virtual Job Shadow main page. Go to the top black bar and find the “Tools” drop down. Click on “Tools” and go to “Assessments”. On the “Assessments” page go to the “CAREER CLUSTER INTEREST SURVEY EZ (CCIS-EZ)” and click on the purple “START NEW” button.
Read the instructions and when you are ready, click on the green “START SURVEY” button.
Answer all 85 questions.
Once finished, you will be prompted to click on the green “SUBMIT” button.
You will reach the results page where your scored indicate your level of interest in the 17 career clusters.

Career Exp Part 1

  • Back on the Virtual Job Shadow web page, click on the top career cluster.

    Review the career videos on that page.

  • Back on the Virtual Job Shadow web page, return to your favorite career video and page. On the left hand side of the page, there is a Career Profile column

    Click on "Required Education" (4 down on the list).

  • If there is required education for this career field, click on "College Search" on the left hand side (8 down on the list)

     

    New York State should already be selected.

  • Click on "Future Outlook" (6 down on the list).
