A nineteen-week class (Wednesday evenings) at the CTE Center at Olean (57 hours total of theory).  Classes for our Spring program are tentatively scheduled to begin on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026, and will run from 5 to 8 pm (classes are only on Wednesdays).  Costs: Tuition- $900, Textbooks- $200, Total- $1,100.

Medical Assisting

An eighteen-week class that prepares students for work as a Medical Assistant.  Classes for our Spring program are tentatively scheduled to start on Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, and will run from 5 to 8 pm (classes are on both Tuesday and Thursday).  Costs: Tuition- $1,500, Textbooks- $150, Total- $1,650.

Phlebotomy

This is a ten-week class held at the CTE Center at Olean. After completing the theory portion of the class, students will participate in a 32-hour clinical at local facilities.  Upon successful completion of this course (theory and clinical), students will be eligible to take the Phlebotomy Technician Certification exam through the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA); the exam is optional, but we will schedule the exam if there is interest from the class.

Classes for our Spring program are tentatively scheduled to start on Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, and will be from 5 to 8 pm (classes are on both Tuesday and Thursday).  Costs: Tuition: $1,425, Textbooks: $175, Total- $1,600.

Please note: the PTC exam costs an additional $119, and you will pay that to AMCA at the time you sign up for the exam.

Tentative Phlebotomy Schedule for Spring 2026: To successfully complete this program, we expect students to attend every class. We understand emergencies happen, so up to two absences are allowed.

Dental Assisting

A one-year, part-time class consisting of 620 hours of theory, 100 hours of hands-on training, and a 200-hour internship.  Beginning with our next class, theory will be delivered through Moodle using our textbook’s online platform.  Students interested in this program must have reliable access to technology, including, but not limited to, the internet, a desktop/laptop, and Microsoft Word (or an equivalent).

Costs: Tuition: $5,100, Textbooks: $150, Total = $5,250
Note: the three Certification Exams you take during the course are an additional cost you will pay to the testing company at the time you register.

NOTE:  We have available spots for our upcoming Dental Assisting program that we expect to start at the beginning of January.  If you are interested in the program, you have a limited time opportunity to join the next class, but you will need to be able to accomplish the following:

1. Apply online starting December 1st;  the application will close again no later than December 12th.
2. Provide proof of previous college experience (transcript, copy of certificate or diploma, copy of an acceptance letter, etc.) OR take the TABE Test with us (either option must be completed by December 19th).
3. Pay a $250 deposit by December 19th (you must apply first).

If you can accomplish these tasks, you can join the upcoming program.  Space is limited!  Once the open slots are filled, this opportunity will close.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

This 132-hour program covers medical terminology, basic patient care skills, related anatomy and physiology, nutrition, and patient observation techniques. The program also includes instruction on health and prepares students to take the New York State Nurse Aide Certification Exam, which is required to work as a Certified Nurse Aide in a long-term care facility.

Students must be at least 16 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent to enroll in a New York State-approved nurse aide training program. Graduates are eligible to take the state certification exam at age 17.

Classes will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5 to 8 pm beginning in our Spring of 2026 Session at our CTE Center in Olean (exact start date TBD).

Costs: Tuition: $1,500, Textbooks: $100, Total- $1,600.
