Join us for a one-day retreat designed specifically for superintendents and their Board members. This retreat is an opportunity to invest in your leadership skills, collaborate with colleagues from other districts, and develop strategies for driving positive change in education. This retreat is open to superintendents and their teams from all CA BOCES regional school districts.

Welcome and Introductions Morning Speaker: Karren Pyfer-Minalga, Senior Program Associate for K-12 Education, UNITE Karren will facilitate us in learning about the Dignity Index which can be used in a variety of contexts to keep conversations going by placing an emphasis on dignity rather than contempt. Karen brings two decades of experience in public education to her work. She has served as a paraprofessional, classroom teacher, administrator, and a founding school board member—giving her a unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing schools. |

Meet the Keynote Speakers
One of the wonderful advantages of our region working together to offer a leadership retreat is the opportunity to engage in shared learning while also having time to meet privately with your leadership team. Each year, we seek out authors and speakers who can share their messages with leaders from our region. We hope our shared learning provides opportunities for regional conversations as well as individual inspiration for leaders and leadership teams.
