BOCES Staff Join Annual Rebuilding Together Effort

Once again, a hearty group of BOCES staff members gathered to help with the annual Olean Area Rebuilding Together Blitz Day held on Saturday, July 27.  The group gave of their time to help an elderly couple by painting their house located on East Forrest Avenue in Olean.

The group of 16 BOCES employees (and others) who helped paint the house included: Bill Baker, Lynn Bergreen-Johnson, Pam Groth, Dave Joseph, Diane Jubera, Pam Kirkwood, Andrea Kosinski, Natalie Montague, Mike Nenno, Sally Nenno, Steve Pettenati, Kim Potter, Steve Potter, Lynda Quick, Bill Sortore, and Jennifer Wolfer.

District Superintendent and BOCES CEO Lynda Quick said, “I cannot thank our staff enough for giving of their time to help with this great project.  It is a great way to give back to our community, but it is also a fun day and a great way to connect with your fellow employees."

She added, “We also had a great prep crew that worked all day on the Friday, July 26, to get the house ready for us.  They did all the high work and the trim.  Special thanks to Ed Arnold, Bill Baker, Dan D'Amico, Mike Graf, and Noel Sheehy.”
