  • Students will observe objects that sink and float in water, compare volumes of water in different size containers, describe the states water is found in, and observe water absorption and objects dissolving in water.
  • The unit ends with an exploration of how soap effects water and making bubbles.  The science skills emphasized in Waterplay are observing, discussing, describing, predicting, gathering data, questioning, and interpreting data. Integrated hands-on math activities are also included in this kit.
